About the Dance
New York, New York is a 24-count, 2-wall Mirror Line Dance choreography performed face-to-face.
The first two sections use side–cross–side–touch and point–touch patterns, danced in clean mirror image and then repeated in the opposite direction.
In the final section, both dancers make a full turn on the spot and walk forward past each other, turning ½ to face the new wall. Partners switch places, the wall changes by 180°, and the face-to-face position is restored.
Stepsheet
The stepsheet describes the movements for both dancers. A demonstration video will be added when available.
